About the role
The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 7 Pharmacist to join our team on a temporary basis. This role involves working closely with healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and effective use of medications, providing expert advice, and supporting patient care in a hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities
- You will competently check and screen prescriptions.
- You will provide extensive and recent ward pharmacist experience in a hospital setting.
- You will demonstrate good clinical pharmacy knowledge.
- You will offer general ward pharmacy experience.
- You will be familiar with the EPMA system.
Requirements
Experience/Knowledge:
- Up to date GPhC registration.
- Master’s degree in pharmacy (MPharm).
- Experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.
- Proven experience as a ward pharmacist in a hospital.
Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Time management and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong clinical pharmacy knowledge.
