Banding: Band 7

Location: Isleworth

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 3 months

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 09:00AM – 17:30PM

Rate: £19 - £22 per hour

About the role

The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 7 Pharmacist to join our team on a temporary basis. This role involves working closely with healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and effective use of medications, providing expert advice, and supporting patient care in a hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will competently check and screen prescriptions.
  • You will provide extensive and recent ward pharmacist experience in a hospital setting.
  • You will demonstrate good clinical pharmacy knowledge.
  • You will offer general ward pharmacy experience.
  • You will be familiar with the EPMA system.

Requirements

Experience/Knowledge:

  • Up to date GPhC registration.
  • Master’s degree in pharmacy (MPharm).
  • Experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a ward pharmacist in a hospital.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong clinical pharmacy knowledge.
