We are working with a well-established clinical training organisation to appoint an experienced ADI-R assessor to deliver a 2–3 day CPD-certified ADI-R training programme to healthcare professionals. This is an opportunity to teach at an advanced professional level, supporting clinicians to develop confident, high-quality ADI-R practice within autism diagnostic pathways. The programme is delivered live online and attracts delegates from across the UK and internationally.
The Role
You will act as the lead presenter for the ADI-R course, guiding clinicians through the practical and clinical application of the ADI-R with clarity, depth, and confidence. The training is interactive and discussion-led, combining structured teaching with case-based exploration and practical examples. While the academic framework is in place, presenters are encouraged to bring their own clinical insight, style, and experience to the delivery. Courses are delivered live via Zoom over two to three consecutive days.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a 2–3 day live ADI-R training course
- Teach ADI-R structure, scoring, thresholds, and clinical interpretation
- Support clinicians to apply ADI-R findings within diagnostic formulation
- Facilitate group discussion and structured breakout sessions
- Respond confidently to complex clinical questions from experienced professionals
- Maintain a high-quality, engaging, and professional teaching presence throughout
Essential Requirements
- Significant clinical experience completing ADI-R assessments
- Strong confidence presenting to professional or clinical audiences
- Clear, engaging communication and facilitation skills
- Comfortable delivering training via Zoom (screen sharing, breakout rooms, multiple displays)
- Professional, credible, and personable presentation style
Formal teaching experience is welcome but not essential; clinical authority and confidence are key.
Support Provided
- Dedicated Zoom technician present throughout delivery to manage all technical aspects
- Full academic, administrative, and production support
- CPD certification already approved and in place
- Assistance with developing or refining teaching materials, if required
You are not expected to manage logistics or delegate administration; the focus is purely on high-quality delivery.
Who This Role Suits
This role is particularly well suited to senior clinicians, Consultant Psychiatrists, Psychologists, or highly experienced ADI-R assessors who enjoy teaching, discussion, and supporting others to develop safe, consistent diagnostic practice. If you are confident delivering ADI-R training at an advanced level and would value teaching within a respected and supportive training organisation, we would be very keen to hear from you.
