One of my NHS clients is looking for a Highly Specialist Respiratory Pharmacist (Band 7) to join their team and play a key role in shaping their respiratory pharmacy service. This is a role where your clinical expertise genuinely matters — influencing patient pathways, supporting MDTs, and helping drive service improvements.
- South Coast Hours: 37.5 per week or minimum 3 days/week ➡️ Thursday Friday cover required
- Start: ASAP – 3+ months
- Pay: £30–£31 per hour umbrella (or its PAYE equivalent) ✨ Higher rates may be considered for strong specialist experience
Responsibilities:
- Delivering advanced medicines optimisation and clinical support
- Supporting education and training within the respiratory team
- Contributing to service development and risk management
Requirements:

I’m pleased to share a new locum role with one of my NHS clients on the South Coast, ideal for a Specialist Pharmacist with experience in Older Persons Medicine (OPM) or Frailty.
- Contract: ASAP start – minimum 3 months
- Hours: Full‑time (37.5 hrs) or part‑time (min. 3 days/week)
- Pay: £30–£31 per hour umbrella (or its PAYE equivalent)
Responsibilities:
- Leading OPM pharmacy input and supporting frailty pathways
- Providing clinical expertise in medicines optimisation deprescribing
- Contributing to service development across primary secondary care
Requirements:
- Clinical Pharmacy qualification (or working towards it)
- Previous NHS hospital experience
- Experience in Frailty/OPM and NMP is a bonus
