ROLE No 1:
️ Band 7 Respiratory Pharmacist – South Coast Role Now Open! ️
If you’re a clinical pharmacist with a real interest in respiratory care, this new locum opportunity on the South Coast might be exactly what you’ve been waiting for. One of my NHS clients is looking for a Highly Specialist Respiratory Pharmacist (Band 7) to join their team and play a key role in shaping their respiratory pharmacy service.
This is a role where your clinical expertise genuinely matters — influencing patient pathways, supporting MDTs, and helping drive service improvements.
Location: South Coast Hours: 37.5 per week or minimum 3 days/week ➡️ Thursday & Friday cover required Start: ASAP – 3+ months Pay: £30–£31 per hour umbrella (or its PAYE equivalent) ✨ Higher rates may be considered for strong specialist experience
✨ What you’ll be doing:
- Delivering advanced medicines optimisation and clinical support
- Promoting safe, effective, cost‑efficient prescribing
- Supporting education and training within the respiratory team
- Working closely with MDT colleagues to enhance patient outcomes
- Contributing to service development and risk management
What you’ll need:
- GPhC‑registered Pharmacist (MPharm/BPharm)
- Clinical Pharmacy qualification (or working towards it)
- Solid NHS hospital clinical experience
Desirable experience: COPD • Asthma • Biologics • Wider respiratory medicine

South Coast Pharmacists — New Band 7 Role!
I’m pleased to share a new locum role with one of my NHS clients on the South Coast, ideal for a Specialist Pharmacist with experience in Older Persons Medicine (OPM) or Frailty. If you enjoy working closely with MDTs and supporting patient‑centred care, this could be a great match.
Location: South Coast
Contract: ASAP start – minimum 3 months
Hours: Full‑time (37.5 hrs) or part‑time (min. 3 days/week)
➡️ Thursday & Friday cover is essential
Pay: £30–£31 per hour umbrella (or its PAYE equivalent) -
please note : higher rates might be available depending on the level of experience in OPM/frailty
What the role involves:
Leading OPM pharmacy input and supporting frailty pathways
Providing clinical expertise in medicines optimisation & deprescribing
Contributing to service development across primary & secondary care
Supporting junior pharmacists through mentoring and education
Requirements:
GPhC‑registered Pharmacist
Clinical Pharmacy qualification (or working towards it)
Previous NHS hospital experience
Experience in Frailty/OPM and NMP is a bonus
