An excellent opportunity has become available for a highly skilled Band 7 Echocardiographer to join our client’s cardiology department in Gloucester. This locum position is ideal for an experienced professional looking to contribute to a high-performing team dedicated to delivering exceptional cardiac diagnostic services. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the diagnosis and management of cardiovascular conditions for the client’s patients.
Responsibilities:
- The Echocardiographer will be responsible for performing and interpreting a wide range of echocardiograms, ensuring accurate and timely reporting in line with clinical protocols.
- The role involves working closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to support patient care pathways.
- Responsibilities also include maintaining high standards of clinical practice, participating in audit and quality assurance activities, and ensuring equipment is used and maintained appropriately.
Qualifications and Experiences:
- BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent
- Current registration with HCPC
- Proficiency in using echocardiography equipment and reporting software
