We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Band 7 or Band 8a Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician to join our client's team in Gloucester. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing exceptional pharmaceutical care and ensuring the highest standards of quality assurance and control. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our clients' patients and contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our pharmacy services.

What will your responsibilities be:

  • Overseeing and managing aseptic or radiopharmacy processes, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Conducting quality assurance and control activities, including the preparation and review of documentation, audits, and risk assessments.
  • Providing expert advice and support to the pharmacy team, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications.
  • Training and mentoring junior staff, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Degree in Pharmacy or relevant qualification for Pharmacy Technician.
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPHC).
  • Extensive experience in aseptic or radiopharmacy processes.
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance and control principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Experience in Pharmaceutical Section 10 Aseptic or Radiopharmacy Quality Assurance or Control.
  • Minimum of 3 years NHS experience (desirable).
