We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Band 7 or Band 8a Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician to join our client's team in Gloucester. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing exceptional pharmaceutical care and ensuring the highest standards of quality assurance and control. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our clients' patients and contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our pharmacy services.
What will your responsibilities be:
- Overseeing and managing aseptic or radiopharmacy processes, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Conducting quality assurance and control activities, including the preparation and review of documentation, audits, and risk assessments.
- Providing expert advice and support to the pharmacy team, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications.
- Training and mentoring junior staff, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.
Qualifications and Experiences:
- Degree in Pharmacy or relevant qualification for Pharmacy Technician.
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPHC).
- Extensive experience in aseptic or radiopharmacy processes.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance and control principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Experience in Pharmaceutical Section 10 Aseptic or Radiopharmacy Quality Assurance or Control.
- Minimum of 3 years NHS experience (desirable).
