We are looking for a motivated and experienced Locum Paediatric Mainstream Speech and Language Therapist to join our client based in Essex. This role involves managing your own caseload and working full-time across the borough in mainstream schools. If you are passionate about supporting children's communication development and are ready to start immediately, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for children in mainstream schools, focusing on enhancing their communication skills.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, conduct regular interventions, and review progress.
- Manage your own caseload, working closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a collaborative approach to each child's care.
- Provide training and support to school staff and families, ensuring they are equipped to support the child's communication needs.
- Travel across various schools in the borough to deliver these services.
Qualifications and Experiences:
- Registered Speech and Language Therapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience working with children in a mainstream school setting.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and evidence-based therapy approaches.
- Excellent assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
