We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join our team in Kettering. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to patient care and work within a dynamic healthcare environment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, providing expert advice, and supporting the healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
- Managing and optimizing medication therapy for patients
- Conducting medication reviews and providing clinical consultations
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- Educating patients on medication use
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Contributing to clinical audits
- Supporting the training and development of pharmacy staff
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (MPharm) or equivalent
- Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPHC)
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical pharmacy experience
- Strong knowledge of pharmacotherapy and clinical guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in conducting medication reviews and clinical audits
- Proficiency in using pharmacy management systems and electronic health records
