The predicted salary is between 42000 - 48000 Β£ per year.
We are looking for audiologists to work in a permanent role based in Edinburgh. The candidate would need to be comfortable working as the sole Audiologist in that branch. A strong commercial background in private audiology is needed. Need to be RHAD on HCPC. Full-time or part-time considered.
Basic salary is Β£35k with a Β£5k car allowance and an excellent commission scheme. The commission scheme is competitive and is based on hearing aid sales within a month.
The right candidate must be:
- A qualified Audiologist / Hearing Aid Dispenser and have a valid driving licence
- Able to demonstrate an aptitude for working as a team member in promoting Hearing Care within an Optical environment
- Passionate about providing high quality care
- Enthusiastic for working in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities include:
- Carrying out examinations of patients' ears to determine the health of the outer and inner ear
- Carrying out hearing assessments to determine the possible need for hearing correction
- Carrying out wax removals as required (training will be provided if necessary)
- Providing the best advice on which hearing systems may be most suitable for patients' hearing loss and lifestyle requirements
- Programming these hearing aids and completing a rehabilitation process with the patient through a series of follow-up appointments
- Managing hearing clinics, diary management and liaising with suppliers regarding products and technology requirements and stock
