About the Company

Pulse have an exciting opportunity for full-time RGN Nurses with Dermatology experience to work on an upcoming clinical trial based in Southwark in South East London.

About the Role

This position will be full time hours - Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm. It will be running from July for at least 7 months.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct all in-person assessments, including:
  • Screening participants for Inclusion/Exclusion criteria
  • Photographing participants’ faces using a provided camera
  • Performing IGA (Investigator’s Global Assessment)
  • Counting acne lesions
  • Dispensing/distributing study product(s)
  • Conducting TEWL (Transepidermal Water Loss) assessments
  • Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to trial protocols.
  • Collaborate with the research team to ensure participant safety and protocol compliance.
  • Qualifications

    • Registered Nurse with valid NMC Pin
    • Previous experience in dermatology (clinical or research setting preferred)
    • Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
    • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

    Required Skills

    • Up-to-date Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training or willingness to complete it before the clinics begin.

    Preferred Skills

    • Experience in a clinical or research setting preferred.

    Pay range and compensation package

    The salary for this position will be negotiable.

    Timeline

    • Go-live/Dry run: Week commencing 21st July 2025
    • First patient in: 28th July 2025
    • Study end: End of February 2026

    Training Schedule

    • Day 1: Self-paced database training (can be completed at home using personal laptop)
    • Day 2: On-site dry run, full walkthrough, and Q&A
