Job Overview
Pulse is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 6 Paediatric Audiologist to join the audiology service at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Based at Infinity House on Crewe Business Park, this role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a well-established paediatric team, delivering high-quality audiological assessments and care to children and young people.

The successful candidate will provide specialist paediatric audiology services, working closely with multidisciplinary colleagues to ensure accurate assessments, timely interventions, and patient-centred care.

  • Key Responsibilities
    Deliver comprehensive paediatric audiology assessments, including hearing tests and diagnostic evaluations.
  • Manage a varied paediatric caseload, ensuring high clinical standards and adherence to service protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with ENT, paediatricians, speech and language therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with service and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to service development, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Provide a compassionate and supportive approach to patients and families.

Qualifications and Experience

  • HCPC registration as a Clinical Scientist (Audiology) or RCCP registration.
  • Proven experience in paediatric audiology within an NHS or equivalent clinical setting.
  • Strong knowledge of paediatric assessment techniques and hearing pathways.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and clinical decision-making skills.
