The Pharmacy team at Pulse is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 5 Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Crewe. This role involves providing comprehensive pharmacy services, including wards and dispensary cover.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • You will deliver high-quality pharmacy services to patients in wards and dispensary settings.
  • You will ensure accurate dispensing of medications and provide expert advice on pharmaceutical care.
  • You will collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
  • You will maintain up-to-date patient records and ensure compliance with NHS standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience/Knowledge:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or Qualified Pharmacy Technician with relevant certification.
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a pharmacy technician.
  • BTEC Accredited Checking Technician Qualification.
  • Previous hospital experience is required.
  • Proven experience in ward-based pharmacy services.
  • Skills/Abilities:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
    • Good organizational skills to manage workload and meet deadlines.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
    • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
