We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Consultant Psychiatrist to work within Male Medium and Low Secure Services in the West Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity to deliver high-quality psychiatric care in a secure setting, working closely with a well-established multidisciplinary team to support individuals with complex mental health needs.

About the Role

The role involves leading on the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of service users within a forensic mental health environment. You will provide clinical leadership within a collaborative team that includes an Associate Specialist Doctor, Clinical Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker and experienced nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments in a secure environment
  • Develop and oversee individualised care plans in partnership with the MDT
  • Prescribe and monitor appropriate treatment, including medication management
