Essential
- Hold a medical degree registered with the GMC
- Hold a license to practice with the GMC
- Entry on Specialist Register recognised for the award of CCT in ICM, (proposed CCT date must be within 6 months of interview) – CESR or European Community Rights (within 6 months of completing a training programme recognised for the award of CCT or equivalent)
- FFICM Accreditation
Desirable
- MD or equivalent Higher Degree
- Post CCT fellowship
- FICE/FUSIC accreditation
- Instructor in life support course
Mentoring, teaching & research
Essential
- Experience of teaching undergraduate and post graduate trainees
- Ability to teach clinical skills
- Experience of undertaking audits and presenting their findings
- Experience of supervision of postgraduate trainees
- Ability to critically review research
- Commitment to continuing professional development and further post-graduate educations
