Our client is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join their mental health services specialising in eating disorders. The role involves providing personâcentred OT interventions to support individuals in restoring daily functioning, promoting independence and improving engagement in meaningful activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver specialist OT assessments and interventions for individuals with eating disorders
- Support recoveryâfocused routines, relapse prevention and sustainable lifestyle changes
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
- Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions addressing meal planning, sensory regulation, emotional management and body image rehabilitation
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to audits, care reviews and service development
Requirements
- HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience in eating disorder services or mental health settings desirable
- Strong assessment, clinical reasoning and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
