Are you a Consultant Clinical Psychologist or Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist looking for the flexibility of a full or part-time role to fit in with your busy schedule? Are you seeking a new challenge within an experienced MDT working for a friendly and supportive company?
We are looking for a Consultant Clinical Psychologist / Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist to join our client's team. Great communication skills are essential for this role, with the ability to demonstrate a specialist and highly developed knowledge of models, methods, law, and policies in psychology in the context of national developments and in relation to mentally disordered offenders.
Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee the Specialised neurobehavioral rehabilitation programme.
Deliver clinical neuropsychology as a specialist discipline and manage all other members of the Psychology profession.
Ensure all team members understand the concepts and principles underpinning the neurobehavioral rehabilitation framework.
Provide specialist psychological advice, guidance, and consultation to other professionals.
Contribute to Specialised assessments, including risk and capacity, and provide advice on psychological aspects of risk assessment and management.
Engage in local and national networks to raise the profile of the service.
Ensure all non-medical therapeutic approaches are underpinned by an appropriate conceptual model and empirical evidence base.
Monitor service level clinical outcome measures to ensure clinical excellence.
Requirements:
Registered as a Clinical Psychologist with the HCPC.
BPS accredited and HCPC approved Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent.
Chartered Member of the BPS and member of the Division of Neuropsychology.
Enrolled on the BPS Specialist Register of Clinical Neuropsychologists.
Evidence of continued innovative practice through peer endorsement.
Management experience, including leadership of teams of psychologists.
Evidence of engagement in ABI networks.
