Job Overview
Pulse is currently seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable Dietitian to join a multidisciplinary team at a private hospital in Essex. This permanent role offers the opportunity to work in a specialist mental health setting supporting patients with complex psychological and nutritional needs, particularly those with eating disorders. The successful candidate will play a key role in the recovery journey of patients, delivering evidence-based nutritional care and collaborating with a team of psychiatrists, therapists, and medical professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop tailored meal plans.
- Deliver one-on-one and group education sessions focused on healthy eating and relapse prevention.
- Collaborate with the wider multidisciplinary team to create integrated treatment plans.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions using digital, telephone, and in-person methods.
- Provide specialist advice and contribute to service development and quality improvement.
Qualifications and Experience
- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Proven experience in clinical dietetics, preferably in eating disorder care.
- Strong background in nutritional assessment, counselling, and meal planning.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
