Rate: £19 - £22 per hour
Working Pattern:
- Full-time: Monday to Friday, 09:00AM - 17:30PM, 12 weeks.
- Part-time: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 09:00AM – 17:30PM, 12 weeks.
About the role
The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking dedicated and experienced Band 5 Pharmacy Technicians for two placements. As a Band 5 Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in our healthcare team, ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications. You will work closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality pharmaceutical care to our patients.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- You will dispense and accurately check various prescriptions in line with service needs.
- You will manage and maintain accurate patient medication records.
- You will provide advice and support to patients regarding their medications.
- You will assist in the preparation and delivery of pharmaceutical services.
- You will ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
- You will participate in quality improvement initiatives and audits.
- You will collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to optimise patient care.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualifications:
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Qualified Pharmacy Technician with relevant certification.
- A minimum of 6 months recent UK NHS hospital or clinical setting experience.
- Mental Health (MH) experience.
- Experience:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using pharmacy software and systems.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
