Working Pattern: 34.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday), 09:30AM – 17:30PM, Fridays will be 09:30AM – 17:00PM.
About the role
The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 5 Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Carshalton. This role primarily involves ward-based responsibilities with additional dispensary cover during the day.
Duties and Responsibilities
- You will provide high-quality pharmacy services within the ward and dispensary settings.
- You will ensure accurate dispensing of medications.
- You will collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- You will maintain up-to-date patient records and manage medication inventories.
Qualifications and Experience
Experience/Knowledge:
- NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent.
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a pharmacy technician.
- Previous experience in a hospital or community pharmacy setting.
Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Good organizational skills to manage workload and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
