We are seeking a motivated and experienced Band 5/6 General Radiographer to join our team in Lancashire. This temporary position offers a competitive pay rate of £20-£26.00 per hour and involves working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with shifts from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, or 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. The role is available for an immediate start and will run for a duration of 3 months, providing an excellent opportunity for a radiographer to contribute to high‐quality diagnostic services.

Key Responsibilities

As a Band 5/6 General Radiographer, you will be responsible for performing a range of general radiographic procedures, ensuring high‐quality imaging to assist in the accurate diagnosis and treatment of patients. You will operate modern radiographic equipment, maintain patient safety and comfort, and manage accurate imaging records. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will adhere to established protocols and safety standards, contributing to the overall efficiency of the radiology department.

Requirements
  • Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification.
  • Current registration with the HCPC.
  • Experience as a General Radiographer, preferably at Band 5 or 6 level.
  • Proficiency in using advanced radiographic equipment and techniques.
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to providing high standards of patient care and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Must be able to work Theatres and main X‐ray.
