About the role: The Pharmacy team at Pulse is currently seeking a dedicated and professional Band 4 Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Bromsgrove. This is a full-time position, offering a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- You will be dispensing medications and providing pharmaceutical care to patients.
- You will be managing and maintaining accurate records of medications.
- You will be assisting with the preparation of prescriptions and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- You will be providing advice and support to patients and healthcare professionals.
Qualifications and Experience:
- NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or Qualified Pharmacy Technician with relevant certification.
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a pharmacy technician.
- Previous experience in a hospital or community pharmacy setting.
- Must hold a valid driving license and have business insurance.
Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Good organizational skills to manage workload and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
