We are looking for a proficient and compassionate Band 6 Radiotherapist to join our team in Bristol on a temporary basis. This role offers a competitive rate of £26.00 per hour and requires 40 hours of work per week. The position is set for a 6-month duration with an immediate start, providing an excellent opportunity for those ready to contribute to high-quality radiotherapy services.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering precise and effective radiotherapy treatments to patients, ensuring their comfort and care throughout the process.
- Working collaboratively with oncologists, radiographers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Operating radiotherapy equipment, monitoring patient progress, maintaining accurate treatment records, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Radiotherapy or equivalent.
- Current registration with the HCPC.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Band 6 Radiotherapist or in a similar role.
- Competence in using modern radiotherapy equipment and techniques.
- Understanding of radiation safety and protection measures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team.
