We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Band 6 Nuclear Medicine Radiographer to join our dynamic client's team in Bradford. This role is crucial in providing high-quality nuclear medicine imaging services to their patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a range of diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety. What will your responsibilities be:
- Perform a variety of nuclear medicine imaging procedures, including PET, SPECT, and gamma camera imaging.
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients, following strict safety protocols.
- Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment, ensuring it is in optimal working condition.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and provide comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and guidelines.
- Provide support and guidance to junior staff and students as needed.
Qualifications and Experiences:
- Degree in Radiography or equivalent qualification.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Postgraduate qualification in Nuclear Medicine or relevant experience.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the NHS.
- Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine imaging techniques and radiopharmaceuticals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
