Phlebotomists / HCAs Needed – South Wales
Mobile sites across the South Wales area. Up to £19 per hour (umbrella) + weekend enhancements. Starting April | Ongoing project.
Pulse AHP’s Phlebotomy Team is recruiting experienced Phlebotomists / Healthcare Support Workers to support an established health research programme as it moves into its next phase. This is a flexible, shift-based role (similar to bank work), ideal if you’re looking for part-time hours or a second role. We’re looking for candidates who can commit to at least 2 days per week within a 7-day service.
The Role
- You’ll be working on mobile research units across the South Wales area (locations rotate every 5–6 weeks), supporting participants through:
- Venepuncture (2 blood samples per participant)
- Height, weight & waist measurements
- BP and heart rate checks
- Data input onto clinical systems
- Participant welfare checks and escalation where needed
- Preparing samples for courier collection
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 12 months recent phlebotomy experience
- HCA / clinical support experience
- Ability to work 2–3 days per week
- Willingness to register fully with Pulse
- Driving licence highly beneficial due to mobile sites
