Our client is seeking an experienced Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist to join their Learning Disability Services team in a regional role covering the West Midlands and South Midlands. This is an exciting opportunity for an OT who is passionate about delivering high-quality, specialist interventions across both children’s and adult services.

This home-based hybrid role offers a balance of remote working and community visits, supporting individuals in a range of settings while maintaining flexibility and autonomy.

The Role

You will work across learning disability services, supporting both children and adults with complex needs. The role involves specialist assessment and intervention, close multidisciplinary collaboration, and a strong focus on sensory integration and functional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver highly specialist occupational therapy assessments and interventions across learning disability services
  • Work with both children and adults, providing tailored, person-centred support
  • Undertake sensory integration assessments and develop specialist intervention programmes
  • Provide advice, training, and support to families, carers, and professionals
  • Work autonomously across a regional patch, managing your own diary and caseload
  • Travel across the West Midlands and South Midlands as part of the role
Requirements:
  • HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
  • Essential experience working in paediatrics
  • Sensory Integration (SI) trained – essential
  • Experience working within learning disability services
  • Full UK driving licence
Salary & Benefits:
  • Car allowance: £3,500 per annum
