The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking an experienced Clinical Trials Locum Pharmacist to join our team for a three-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for opening new clinical trials, processing trial amendments and checking dispensed products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with GCP (Good Clinical Practice) guidelines.
- Coordinate with clinical trial teams to manage trial supplies.
- Maintain accurate records of trial medications and amendments.
- Provide expert advice on clinical trial protocols and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure trial compliance.
- Train and support staff on clinical trial processes and GCP standards.
- Liaise with external stakeholders, including trial sponsors and regulatory bodies.
Requirements:
Education and Qualifications:
- GPhC Registered.
- 1 year pre‑registration training.
- Master’s degree in pharmacy (MPharm) accredited by the GPhC.
- Previous experience working in an NHS hospital setting is essential.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Strong knowledge of medicines and their applications.
