We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team in a hospital setting. This role requires a candidate with extensive ward and dispensary experience, who can provide high-quality care and support to our patients. The successful applicant will be adaptable, reliable, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of healthcare.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Managing and dispensing medications, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of pharmaceutical services to patients.
  • Working closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care, support patient safety initiatives, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the hospital's pharmacy operations.
  • Maintaining accurate records, managing inventory, and providing patient education on medication use.

Qualifications and Experience

  • NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or Qualified Pharmacy Technician with relevant certification.
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPHC) as a pharmacy technician.
  • Minimum of 2 years' post-registration NHS hospital pharmacy experience.

Skills/Abilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Good organizational skills to manage workload and meet deadlines.
