We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team in a hospital setting. This role requires a candidate with extensive ward and dispensary experience, who can provide high-quality care and support to our patients. The successful applicant will be adaptable, reliable, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of healthcare.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Managing and dispensing medications, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of pharmaceutical services to patients.
- Working closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care, support patient safety initiatives, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the hospital's pharmacy operations.
- Maintaining accurate records, managing inventory, and providing patient education on medication use.
Qualifications and Experience
- NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or Qualified Pharmacy Technician with relevant certification.
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPHC) as a pharmacy technician.
- Minimum of 2 years' post-registration NHS hospital pharmacy experience.
