We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Locum Ward & Dispensary Pharmacist to join our team in Barnsley. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, providing essential pharmaceutical care to patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, contributing to patient care plans, and supporting the overall healthcare team. Recent experience on wards in an acute NHS hospital is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the dispensing of medications
- Conducting medication reviews
- Providing clinical advice to healthcare professionals and patients
- Working closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Participating in ward rounds
