We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Locum Non-Invasive Cardiac Physiologist to join our team in Barnet. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality cardiac diagnostic services. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a range of non-invasive cardiac tests and ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting a variety of non-invasive cardiac tests, including ECGs, Holter monitoring, and exercise tolerance tests.
- Working closely with patients to explain procedures, ensure their comfort, and accurately record test results.
- Collaborating with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret test results and contribute to patient care plans.
- Maintaining and calibrating equipment, adhering to clinical protocols, and staying updated with the latest advancements in cardiac diagnostics.
- Participating in quality assurance activities, assisting in the training and supervision of junior staff, and contributing to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
- Involved in patient education, providing information on heart health and lifestyle modifications.
Qualifications and Experiences:
- Degree in Cardiac Physiology or related field.
- HCPC registration.
- Previous experience in a non-invasive cardiac diagnostic setting.
- Proficiency in conducting ECGs, Holter monitoring, and exercise tolerance tests.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in recording test results.
