We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Pharmacist specializing in Medicine Information to join our team in Milton Keynes. This temporary full-time position is ideal for a professional with at least 6 months of NHS experience who is passionate about providing accurate and comprehensive medication information. As a Band 8a Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in supporting healthcare professionals and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications.
ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will be responsible for providing detailed and evidence-based medication information to healthcare professionals and patients. Your duties will include:
- Researching and responding to medicine-related inquiries
- Evaluating and disseminating drug information
- Contributing to the development of medication guidelines and protocols
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPHC)
- Minimum of 6 months NHS experience
- Strong background in medicine information and pharmacology
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Commitment to continuous professional development
