We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Band 8A Medical Wards Pharmacist to join our team in London. This temporary position offers a unique opportunity to work within acute NHS hospitals, providing essential pharmacy services to medical wards. Responsibilities:
- Covering medical wards within acute NHS hospitals.
- Validating TTAs (To Take Away medications).
- Undertaking medicines reconciliation.
- Providing clinical advice to the multidisciplinary team (MDT).
- Ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, contributing to the overall quality of patient care.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Significant experience of covering medical wards within acute NHS hospitals.
- Ability to validate TTAs.
- Proficiency in undertaking medicines reconciliation.
- Capability to provide clinical advice to the MDT.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.
