We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oncology Pharmacist to join our team in London. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, providing specialized pharmaceutical care to oncology and hematology patients. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, contributing to patient care, and supporting clinical trials.
Responsibilities:
- Screening oncology and hematology prescriptions
- Managing inpatient and outpatient medication therapy
- Providing expert advice on the use of oncology medications
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- Educating patients on medication use
- Participating in clinical trials
- Managing aseptic preparations
- Supporting the training and development of pharmacy staff
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous oncology and hematology inpatient and outpatient experience
- Experience in screening oncology/hematology prescriptions
- Aseptic experience
- Clinical trials experience (desirable)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
