We are looking for a highly skilled Band 8a Mammographer to join our team in West London. This ongoing position offers a competitive pay rate of £39.00 per hour, with working hours from 09:00 am to 17:00 pm. The role is available for an immediate start and provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced mammographer to deliver high-quality breast imaging services in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

  • Performing a range of mammographic examinations, including screening and diagnostic procedures.
  • Operating specialized mammography equipment, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and providing accurate imaging for diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Collaborating closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals, maintaining high standards of care, adhering to safety protocols, and contributing to the continuous improvement of mammography services.

Requirements

  • Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification.
  • Current registration with the HCPC.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Mammography is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mammographer, ideally at Band 8a level.
  • Proficiency in using advanced mammography equipment and techniques.
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety and breast imaging protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
  • Commitment to providing high standards of patient care and maintaining confidentiality.
