We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Band 7 Pharmacist to join our team in Hertfordshire. This role offers an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality pharmaceutical care across community hospital ward sites. The successful candidate will work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medicines within the Trust.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the ward pharmacist for clinical ward pharmacy services across all community hospital ward sites.
- Provide a specialised medicines optimisation service and offer expert clinical advice relating to medicines to nurses, doctors, pharmacy colleagues, and other healthcare professionals across the Trust.
- Promote and ensure the safe and effective use of medicines.
Qualifications and Experience:
- First degree in Pharmacy (Masters) or equivalent.
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
- Experience in providing clinical ward pharmacy services.
- Expertise in medicines optimisation.
- Ability to provide clinical advice to a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to promoting safe and effective use of medicines.
