The predicted salary is between 22 - 26 Β£ per hour.

We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Band 7 Pharmacist to join our team in Hertfordshire. This role offers an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality pharmaceutical care across community hospital ward sites. The successful candidate will work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medicines within the Trust.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the ward pharmacist for clinical ward pharmacy services across all community hospital ward sites.
  • Provide a specialised medicines optimisation service and offer expert clinical advice relating to medicines to nurses, doctors, pharmacy colleagues, and other healthcare professionals across the Trust.
  • Promote and ensure the safe and effective use of medicines.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • First degree in Pharmacy (Masters) or equivalent.
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Experience in providing clinical ward pharmacy services.
  • Expertise in medicines optimisation.
  • Ability to provide clinical advice to a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to promoting safe and effective use of medicines.
