About the role: The Clinical Physiology team at Pulse is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Band 7 Respiratory Physiologist to join our team at Wythenshawe. This is a temporary position with an immediate start, lasting for 3 months. The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday, within the hours of 08:00 to 18:00, totaling 37.5 hours per week.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- You will perform unsupervised routine techniques such as Spirometry, lung volumes, and TLco.
- You will ensure accurate and timely reporting of test results.
- You will maintain high standards of patient care and safety.
- You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive respiratory care.
Qualifications and Experience:
- BSc in Physiological Sciences.
- Proven experience working as a Band 6 within the Respiratory department.
- Strong ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proven experience as a Respiratory Physiologist.
