Job Overview

Pulse is currently seeking an experienced Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist to join the Bromley Neuro Rehabilitation Service on a community basis. This role focuses on delivering specialist speech and language therapy to adult patients with stroke diagnoses, supporting their rehabilitation and recovery within community settings. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary, patient-centred team, providing high‑quality, evidence‑based interventions tailored to individual needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver specialist speech and language therapy assessments and interventions for stroke patients.
  • Provide community‑based rehabilitation within patients’ homes or local settings.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary neuro rehabilitation team.
  • Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and adhere to governance standards.

Qualifications and Experience

  • HCPC‑registered Speech and Language Therapist.
  • Experience working at Band 7 level or equivalent.
  • Specialist knowledge of adult neurology and stroke rehabilitation.
  • Experience working within community settings.
  • Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and organisational skills.
