Working hours: Saturdays & Sundays 7.5 hour shifts

Our client is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Band 6 General Radiographer to join their imaging department in Manchester for weekends. This short‑term opportunity is ideal for a radiographer who is confident in delivering high‑quality diagnostic imaging services and is committed to patient‑centred care. The successful candidate will work within a supportive team, contributing to the efficient delivery of radiographic services for the client’s patients.

Responsibilities

  • The General Radiographer will perform a wide range of routine diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring high standards of image quality and patient safety.
  • Key duties include operating imaging equipment, maintaining accurate patient records, and working collaboratively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
  • The role also involves adhering to departmental protocols and radiation safety regulations while maintaining a compassionate and professional approach to patient care.

Qualifications and Experiences

  • HCPC registered Radiographer
  • Experience working at Band 6 level or equivalent
  • Proficient in general radiographic techniques and equipment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of current radiographic practices and safety standards
  • Experience in NHS or similar healthcare settings is preferred
