We are currently seeking a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist specialising in Haematology and Blood Transfusion to join our client’s team in Hampshire. This is a full-time, ongoing position working core hours only, offering a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to contribute to a busy and well-established laboratory service.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform full blood counts, coagulation studies, and blood film morphology.
- Ensure accurate analysis and maintain quality control.
- Collaborate with clinical teams.
Qualifications and Experience
- HCPC registration.
- Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent.
- Experience in Haematology/Blood Transfusion within a clinical laboratory.
- Experience with Bio‑Rad IH‑500.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- NHS experience (preferred).
