Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30-16:30 (minimum 3 days per week accepted)

Job Overview

Pulse is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Band 6 Dietitian to join a specialist team at Lincoln County Hospital. This is a short-term opportunity to support inpatient and outpatient nutrition services working as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team (MDT). The role may also include occasional cover at Pilgrim Hospital Boston depending on service needs. This vacancy has arisen due to sickness/maternity cover and we are looking for candidates who can start as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide nutritional support to both inpatient and outpatient caseloads.
  • Work collaboratively within an MDT to deliver patient-centred care.
  • Assess, plan and implement dietary interventions tailored to individual needs.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to service development.
  • Support patients with complex nutritional needs including enteral and parenteral feeding (if trained).
  • Supervise students (if applicable).

Qualifications and Experience

  • HCPC registration.
  • A minimum of 1 year’s experience practising as a Dietitian.
  • Prior experience working within the NHS.
  • Experience in inpatient and outpatient nutrition support.
  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Desirable experience includes:

  • Knowledge and experience of enteral feeding including feeding tubes.
  • Training in parenteral nutrition.
  • Experience in student supervision.
