We are seeking a Biomedical Science Histologist to join our esteemed client in Brighton. This role involves performing routine histopathology laboratory duties, with a primary focus on microtomy sectioning (standard, mega, singles, levels, and cores), routine H&E staining using Leica Spectra, and embedding various histology specimens. The successful candidate will work closely with pathologists and laboratory teams, ensuring high-quality sample processing and adherence to clinical guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- The role requires expertise in histopathology, including precise microtomy sectioning, routine H&E staining, and embedding histology specimens to support accurate diagnosis and treatment.
- The histologist will be responsible for maintaining laboratory equipment, ensuring quality control standards, and assisting in the day-to-day operations of the histopathology lab.
