About the role: The Clinical Physiology team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and experienced Respiratory Physiologist to join our team in Scunthorpe. This is a full-time position starting on the 28th of October 2024, with a competitive hourly rate of £27 - £35. The role is initially for a duration of 3 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and departmental needs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- You will conduct a range of respiratory tests and assessments.
- Interpret test results and provide accurate reports.
- Collaborate with medical professionals to develop patient care plans.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained and calibrated.
- Provide patient education and support.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Clinical PFT/LFT experience.
- Relevant qualifications and registration as a Respiratory Physiologist.
- Experience in a similar role, preferably within the NHS.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proven experience as a Respiratory Physiologist.
