We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team in a hospital setting. This role requires a candidate with extensive ward and dispensary experience, who can provide high-quality care and support to our patients. The successful applicant will be adaptable, reliable, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of healthcare.
Duties and Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and dispensing medications, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of pharmaceutical services to patients. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care, support patient safety initiatives, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the hospital's pharmacy operations. Your duties will also include maintaining accurate records, managing inventory, and providing patient education on medication use.
Qualifications and Experience
- NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or Qualified Pharmacy Technician with relevant certification.
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPHC) as a pharmacy technician.
- Minimum of 2 years’ post-registration NHS hospital pharmacy experience.
Skills/Abilities
