We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated ACT/MMT Pharmacy Technician to join our team in London. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality pharmaceutical care. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, supporting both clinical and dispensary operations.
Responsibilities:
- Medication preparation and dispensing
- Conducting medication reviews
- Providing patient counselling in busy clinical areas such as clinics and inpatient settings
- Involved in medicines management and optimization, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- Support cancer services, particularly in oncology and haematology
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and safety of the pharmacy operations
Qualifications and Experience:
- Registered pharmacy technician, band 5 equivalent
- MMPT accredited
- ACPT (Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician) accredited
- Experience in counselling patients about medication in busy clinical areas (clinics and inpatients)
- Experience in cancer services (oncology and haematology) is highly desirable
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
