We are seeking two dedicated and detail‐oriented Locum Junior Procurement Pharmacy Technicians to join our team in Kings Lynn. This role involves working closely with the clinical teams to replace high‐cost, branded drugs with more cost‐effective alternatives that provide the same or better outcomes for patients. What will your responsibilities be:
- Support the procurement pharmacy technician in managing the procurement of medications.
- Work with clinical teams to identify and implement cost‐saving opportunities.
- Ensure the availability of cost‐effective alternatives.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities.
- Assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications.
- Manage stock levels and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for patients while optimizing the use of resources.
Qualifications and Experiences:
- Previous experience in a pharmacy or procurement setting.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical procurement practices.
