Our client is seeking an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join their team on a Hyper Acute Stroke Unit in Essex. This role involves providing specialist occupational therapy interventions for patients with acute stroke, supporting recovery and facilitating safe, timely discharges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality occupational therapy interventions for patients on a hyper acute stroke unit.
- Complete functional assessments and rehabilitation plans tailored to stroke recovery.
- Support discharge planning and liaise with the multidisciplinary team.
- Promote independence and optimize patient outcomes through evidence-based practice.
Requirements:
- HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
