The Clinical Physiology team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and skilled Band 6 Cath Lab Cardiac Physiologist to join our dynamic team in Aberdeen. This is a full-time, ongoing position offering a competitive hourly rate of £45-£50.
Responsibilities:
- Perform core duties including Angiography (Angio), Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI), Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS), and Pressure Wire (PW) assessments.
- Assist with pacing implant procedures.
- Support structural heart procedures, including Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI), if experienced (not essential).
Qualifications and Experience:
- Strong clinical skills and experience in cardiac pacing and device management.
- Relevant qualifications and experience as a Cardiac Physiologist.
- IBHRE or BHRS accreditation is essential.
- Proficiency in Angio, PCI, IVUS, and PW.
- Experience in pacing implants and structural procedures (TAVI) is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to patient care and safety.
