We are currently recruiting for an experienced Band 7 Cardiac MRI Radiographer to join an established imaging service.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced MRI Radiographer with strong Siemens MRI experience and a background in Cardiac MRI, who is confident working across both specialist and general MRI examinations.

The Role

  • Perform Cardiac MRI examinations to a high clinical standard.
  • Support the development and building of Cardiac MRI protocols.
  • Undertake a range of general MRI examinations alongside cardiac work.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of MRI safety procedures and protocols.
  • Work confidently with Siemens MRI systems.
  • Support the wider MRI team and contribute to the delivery of a high-quality imaging service.
  • Work flexibly across standard day and long-day shifts.
  • Minimum 2 years’ MRI experience.
  • Strong experience in Cardiac MRI.
  • Strong understanding of MRI safety.
  • Valid cannulation certificate from SOR or a recognised university.
  • Ability to work flexibly across day and long-day shifts.
  • HCPC registration as a Diagnostic Radiographer.
  • Previous NHS experience.
  • Experience with Soliton.
  • Previous involvement in developing or building MRI protocols.
  • Previous Band 7 or senior-level MRI experience.
