Our client is growing their data platform and looking for two Data Engineers who can build and run high-volume ingestion pipelines across a modern, high-performance stack. You’ll work end-to-end on ingestion, warehousing, lakehouse, orchestration, and platform reliability with an immediate focus on ClickHouse + Kafka at scale.
What You’ll Be Doing day to day:
- High-throughput ingestion into ClickHouse
- Streaming pipelines with Kafka
- Extracting from BigQuery, Elasticsearch, and third-party APIs
- Working across S3/GCS, Parquet, Iceberg, Kubernetes (EKS)
- Building reliable, observable, production-ready pipelines
- Using AI-assisted coding tools as part of your workflow
Must Have experience with:
- Strong Python + production pipeline experience
- Deep ClickHouse knowledge
- Kafka fundamentals (delivery semantics, backpressure, schema registry)
- API ingestion patterns (pagination, rate limits, retries)
- Operational mindset: observability, debugging, recovery
Bonus:
- TypeScript/Node, dbt, Iceberg, CDC, ML/LLM pipelines, media/ad-tech experience.
Levels:
- Mid-Level Engineer: Delivers scoped pipelines with light guidance
- Senior Engineer: Owns subsystems, sets patterns, drives architecture
