We are working with a household-name business as it continues to invest heavily in becoming a digital-first, engineering-led organisation. They are now looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join their Web Platform team. This is not a standard frontend engineering role. You will be building the tools, standards, libraries, pipelines and platform capability that web engineers across the business use every day. The Web Platform supports around 150 web engineers and is focused on improving developer experience, productivity and lead time to change.

You will need strong hands-on web engineering experience, as well as the ability to influence technical direction across multiple teams.

- Supporting technical adoption across teams
- Coaching and mentoring senior engineers
