Position Description
Reporting to the Operations Director and/or Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing the fibre designs for our sites.
Responsibilities
- Planning and designing fibre routes on new build developments via QGIS. To design suitable civils and fibre optic infrastructure which are cost-effective, fit-for-purpose and future-proof.
- Bill of materials creation
- Schematic creation
- Liaising with Project Delivery Leads to QC designs
- Handover of designs to the client for sign-off
- Bringing together relevant information from site job packs
Qualifications and Skills
- Background in telecoms design
- Detailed working understanding of all aspects of fibre, civils and cable planning
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Good knowledge of QGIS
- Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator or Auto-CAD
Employment Details
Hours: 35 hours (7 hours per day + 1 hour for lunch)
Holiday allowance: 25 days annual leave + UK bank holidays
Location/Office: Canary Wharf office required 5-days a week
